The Sir John Brunner Foundation is a Multi Academy Trust founded on the shared ambition that every child’s life shall be enhanced through the highest standards in education.
Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form College successfully joined the Foundation in April 2018. In September 2019, the Foundation welcomed The County High School Leftwich, further strengthening the longstanding relationship with the school and Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form College, both rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. In December 2021, The Foundation welcomed Middlewich High School.
Deeply rooted in its heritage and inspired by the generosity of local benefactor Sir John Brunner, the Foundation is committed to serving the children of mid Cheshire and the wider area.
Each school within The Sir John Brunner Foundation shall retain a strong sense of identity, place and purpose with each school contributing to a shared experience of excellence and pride, continuing to build on a rich history whilst celebrating its own uniqueness.
