The Sir John Brunner Foundation believes in deep and purposeful collaboration to ensure that all of our Academies provide all our students with the highest quality of education. Under the leadership of our Director of School Improvement, our Foundation is ensuring the structures are in place to create the conditions for this impactful collaboration.

Codifying what Excellence looks like based on our research and experience

The implementation of Focus Visits will serve as a mechanism to embed the use of the Academy Improvement Partner Dashboard as a robust Quality Assurance Framework, providing a basis upon which to more deeply explore academy improvement priorities, identifying strengths and opportunities for development.

The visits will follow a peer review model.

Utilising our Academy Improvement Partner Dashboard, which highlights areas of outstanding practice and identifies areas for improvement.

Half-termly Meetings known as Foundation Leaderships Forums

Leadership Forums with directed time provided to hold meetings, including:

  1. Inclusion & Culture
  2. Quality of Education
  3. Safeguarding
  4. Professional DevelopmentĀ 
  5. Subject Leadership
  6. Inclusion Leadership

Experts from across the Foundation supporting the leadership of Safeguarding, ensuring our students are as happy and safe a possible and Continued Professional Development, ensuring our professionals are the best they can be.

Providing our headteachers with the support and development they deserve so they are able to lead their Academy, with dedication and skill.
