Louise Shorney
I am the Vice Dean Practice Education, School of Allied Health Professions and Nursing at the University of Liverpool. I qualified as a registered nurse (adult) in 1992, specialising in orthopaedic, spinal injuries and tissue viability nursing. I spent several years working in NHS hospitals, especially national specialist orthopaedic and spinal injury units before moving into Higher Education. I am passionate about teaching, curriculum development and the learner’s experience.
I am a Senior Fellow of Advance Higher Education and have completed a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA).
