Matt Snelson – Chief Executive Officer
As CEO of the Sir John Brunner Foundation, Matt leads the strategic direction and oversees all operations across the Foundation. He collaborates closely with the Central Leadership Team, as well as the Headteachers and Principals of the Foundation’s schools, to ensure they are empowered to deliver the highest standards of education for every student.
With a strong passion for educational excellence, Matt is dedicated to ensuring that every child within the Foundation’s schools receives an exceptional learning experience. His career in education began at The County High School, Leftwich, where he progressed to the role of Principal and successfully led the school through its second Outstanding Ofsted Inspection in April 2022.
Matt drives the Foundation’s vision, working to support school leaders in creating high-performing schools where students can thrive. His leadership emphasises both academic excellence and the well-being of professionals and students, fostering a positive and successful learning environment across all schools in the Foundation.
