The Sir John Brunner Foundation, a Multi-Academy Trust, seeks to appoint an outstanding and inspirational leader to deliver the Foundation’s strategy inline with our cultural values. Leading the organisation and with the support of the Trust Board, and an effective executive team, you will have responsibility for the effective running of the Multi-Academy Trust currently comprising of good and outstanding Academies.
Through your strong and effective leadership, every child’s life at the Foundation, is enhanced and advanced though the highest standards in education and will experience a broad and diverse education which fulfils their academic potential. Likewise, you will lead a culture of high performance, enabling professionals to grow and develop to reach their career aspirations.
This is an exciting time to be joining as Chief Executive Officer. The Sir John Brunner Foundation, with two High Schools and a Sixth Form College, educates circa. 3,500 children and employs over 400 professionals. Each academy within the Foundation operates at the heart of its local community. Set in central Cheshire, the Foundation’s offices are based at Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form College which is a modern purpose build campus set in beautiful grounds. The County High School, Leftwich and Middlewich High School are also within easy reach.
The Foundation is built on a robust system of financial management and continues to invest in its academies, colleagues and learners. The Foundation continues to explore opportunities for future growth and development making for an exciting future for the Foundation.
The successful candidate will have significant experience of successful educational leadership, a clear vision, credibility and demonstrable experience of working in a complex educational organisation. To be successful in post you will be enthusiastic, strive for continuous improvement and be passionate about the role you will play in the success of the Multi-Academy Trust. All of which translates to outstanding outcomes for the children educated in all the Academies.
This exciting opportunity arises following the retirement of the current Chief Executive Officer.
